Season’s Greetings and Best Wishes!

At this festive time, I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and appreciation for my family, partner, friends, clients, associates and others who have supported me in 2009. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Talking with contacts, reading industry news and listening to chit chat on the web I am glad to hear there is upward movement in the recruiting market, at least in some key sectors. We are all hoping the worst of the downturn is behind us.

My consulting practice is up and running, my website is live and has just a few minor technical fixes that need to be taken care of.   I also joined the world of blogging and micro blogging, although I am still coming up to speed with the nuances of WordPress and Twitter. It has been said that online activity can be addictive – it’s easy to see why.

Following my writing muse is satisfying and a couple of ebooks are in development. If all goes to plan, at least one of the two books will be available in early 2010.

As the year comes to a close I am reflecting on the past months, thinking about endings and beginnings as well as assessing my achievements. A list maker and planner at heart, I am also looking ahead to how I can do things better, smarter, be more relaxed, healthier, and still savour each day!

Happy holidays to all. Here’s to a safe, joyous holiday season and a prosperous new year. Make 2010 the best yet!

Best wishes to you and yours,

Shireen
